About
Brett Conradt is a seasoned executive and advisor to private equity firms, hedge funds, and both private and public companies. With more than 20 years advising clients, he brings deep experience across the consumer/retail, industrial, and services sectors.
After a successful career in management consulting, Brett now partners with clients as an independent advisor in a range of roles.
Through Charlotte Advisory Partners, Brett also deploys capital as a general or limited partner and often continues as a key advisor following acquisition. Over his career, he has led work on hundreds of transactions.
Brett holds an MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and a BS from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois. He stays connected to the classroom as a guest lecturer at universities including the University of Illinois, Texas A&M, and UNC–Charlotte.
Originally from Chicago, Brett now lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and two sons. Outside of spending time with the family, rooting for Chicago sports teams, and volunteering at a non-profit in Charlotte, he’s also returned to triathlon—although these days at much shorter distances than a decade ago.
